EARLY VIEW OF HIS LIFE:

For most of Brett’s professional life, he has been in government jobs rather than private practices. When George W. Bush nominated him to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. circuit, he played a part in more than 300 opinions with a rather conservative perspective. He has been accused of 3 cases of sexual misconduct in high school and college. His history of having a conservative attitude could lead to multiple problems in the Supreme Court.

WILL USA BECOME MORE CONSERVATIVE?

Conservativeness is not the only concern at the moment. American citizens may not even get the right to raise allegations against the president, thereby enhancing the president’s power to block criminal and civil allegations against him. American President, Donald Trump, is already facing several lawsuits and is under investigation. The very thought that any accusations against the President may be banned is frightening to even think about since then no one would know the kind of person the President of USA would be. For all you know, he may have a huge number of accusations against him, but no one will ever really come to know about that. This would literally give the President incalculable power to do whatever he wants and act however negligently as he wants. (Sounds pretty much like a dictatorship, doesn’t it?)

WHAT KIND OF CHANGES COULD BE MADE IN THE SUPREME COURT?

The Supreme Court could definitely become WAY MORE conservative since Kavanaugh is in full support of the #himtoo movement, because Donald Trump has already shown his abutment by defending his nominee, Brett by saying “it’s a very scary time for young men in America, where you can be guilty of something that you may not be guilty of.” However, a US Justice Department study found that false accusations were rare and comprised no more than 2-10% of all complaints. He also inexorably mocked Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey during one of his big political rallies. Therefore, sexual assault cases could just be favoured towards men and women’s perspective may not even be taken into consideration. It would almost be like bringing your own beliefs into judgements which are to be passed regardless of what the evidence may even suggest. Trump has also previously stated that he would only nominate pro-life judges which basically means that even heavier restrictions would be imposed in the States on abortions. Obviously, since Kavanaugh is Trump’s nominee, they are bound to have very similar views on voting rights, affirmative action, the environment and gay rights. Some abortion rights groups and environmental organisations that have remained neutral on Supreme Court nominees are STRONGLY AGAINST Kavanaugh.

CONCLUSION:-

The United States of America will no longer be as liberal as it is right now. The American citizens enjoy a liberal country, which now faces some racism and discrimination due to Donald Trump, but aside from that, they have so many rights which will be completely sidelined with Brett Kavanaugh as the Justice, who is most capable of bringing his personal beliefs into Supreme Court hearings.
