Speaking of cultures in different cities, the variations are based on a wide spectrum of factors. In these few years, travelling made me realise the most important factor determining the unique culture of a city is no other than geographical location.
Hong Kong is located near the equator, a city near the ocean. Therefore, it is one of the most popular ports and has an immense amount of population for its convenient location. This humongous amount of people living here and the highly-packed colourful skyscrapers have led to the culture of Phototaking and posting as a way of socialising with peers as many things in this city is photogenic, packed with colours.

Australia is famous for its deserts and extremely rich biodiversity and species diversity. In such, many travel there to do outdoor activities. Hiking, camping, nature photography, these are things commonly found within this country. I am amazed by its fresh and clean environment, a perfect place to travel for a nature lover.

Meanwhile, the long, thinner geographical makeup of Japan has created a wide range of climate. Hokkaido, in particular, is colder as it is located more north than other parts. This wide range of weather has enabled Japan to satisfy different needs of travellers. From shopping to hiking on Fuji mountain to skiing in the pure white snow, these can all be found in Japan during different seasons. Therefore, a large variety of travellers(age-wise) can be found in Japan across the whole year.
