Walking down the Streets of New Delhi made me realize how cultures mix with each other to coexist and to diversify even further to become one whole united community. With the advancements in mankind we become closer to each other than ever before. From live streaming sports events that are taking place thousands of kilometers away, to having your favorite Asian cuisine at a restaurant next to your corner store, globalisation has allowed us to become much more interconnected and share cultures and experiences. Currently, these things happens at an unprecedented rate. Some countries face major issues, due to the exposure of foreign cultures that ultimately destroys their own. So the question is, to what extent should globalization be accepted or is it okay for it to change us for the better or the worse?

I think globalisation is inevitable as every city thrives to improve their economy, ultimately every city will accept all kinds of culture from across the world in order to “keep up” with social trends. But I certainly think that by filtering and choosing the right companies can actually maintain one’s cultural uniqueness? Hmmm.
